With the art-loving partner, I went to the Shenzhen Pingshan International Sculpture Exhibition on the weekend. Climb up to the observation deck and look into the distance, where the Pingshan River meanders like a ribbon, and the modern sculpture group and the distant mountains form a surreal picture frame. The park offers parent-child sculpture workshops every week, and there are often art markets on weekends.
