When you come to Guizhou, you must experience another world under the karst landform!
Location: [Pingtang Tiandong]
Cave introduction: "Pingtang Tiandong" is a natural cave formed by the karst landform in Guizhou. The scenery inside the cave is well preserved, and the stalactites in the cave are bizarrely shaped and shiny and transparent. Located in Tangni Village, Pingtang County, Guizhou Province, the village still retains very strong folk customs.
Caving process▼
1. When you arrive at the village entrance, you can go to the base camp by yourself (search for Pingtang Tiandong Tourist Service Center on the navigation)
2. Knowledge explanation at the base camp
First, everyone will sit on small stools and listen to the coach explain the precautions and safety hazards in the cave. Because the natural cave has not been fully developed and is not the kind of cave with colorful lights, we must listen carefully to the coach’s explanation of precautions, how to calmly deal with problems that arise in the cave and the protection inside the cave.
After the explanation, everyone will receive their own equipment, which is as follows:
Cave suit, helmet, headscarf, half-body safety harness, gloves
3. Cave knowledge explanation
Once you enter the cave, your understanding of caving will definitely be overturned. The coach will explain to you the beautiful scenery created by the collision of water, wind, oxygen, carbon dioxide and limestone. If you look closely, you may see some cave creatures in the cave that don't look scary at all and may even look a little cute.
4. Speed dropping, slackline high-altitude experience project
There is a challenge waiting for everyone outside the cave exit, which are high-altitude rappelling and slackline walking. You need to complete the challenge at a height of 15 meters above the ground. Don't worry, we have professional coaches to guide you, and of course children can do it too!
5. Afternoon tea, cave hot pot
How does it feel when your physical strength is almost exhausted and you find a table of rich afternoon tea and steaming cave hot pot outside the cave entrance?
6. Awarding of Certificate of Honor
After returning to the base camp, a certificate of honor will be issued to put a perfect end to today's caving trip.
