It was established in 1998 and has a unique exterior design that resembles books dumped in Tromsø, the capital of the Aurora in Norway, or white Arctic icebergs crashing onto land. Polaria Aquarium is about a 10-minute walk from the center of Tronce. It houses the most popular seal pool and an aquarium area for species unique to the Arctic Ocean.
