I do enjoy coming to this restaurant in the day as it is wonderfully lit by natural sunlight filtering through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The ambience is especially welcoming as the staff allow us to choose different seats, some with more privacy than others. In terms of the food, some dishes taste better than others so do stick to the signatures! #mustvisit Prego Arts Address: 80 Bras Basah Rd, Singapore 189560 A very nice Italian restaurant serving freshly made pasta. You also get to order many authentic local Italian dishes, especially their wood-fire pizza, so delicious. Prego means “Come In” and once you enter, the restaurant is decorated in hints of Italian style but in a much modern way. There are also many colourful mosaic tiles too. There are many different types of seating, you can choose from booth seating, to bar seating and even sit right next to the cute vintage car. For me, I like their red brick wall and it is definitely a great backdrop for photos.

You order your main breakfast dishes with their staff, unlimited servings. You can go around Prego to help yourselves to their pastries, drinks and cold cut sections. You also get to choose the types of eggs too. However, there is no egg station so you will have to order from the staff. I like their service and food served almost immediately upon ordering. You can also come back to Prego for lunch and dinner too. They have a different menu.

I tried the 3 course set with mushroom soup, chose the spinach and potato gnocchi and chose a baked lime custard tart with honey jelly and meringue. Also, I ordered a signature set so that I can try the burrata and it also comes with maine lobster angel hair paste and parma ham wrapped cod fish. Prego is such a nice place to go with so many items to choose from if you stay in Fairmont. Gold room have options to go 3 places for breakfast: asian market, prego, and lounge. Me and my tripfam by default go to prego instead of others because its nearer than asian market and have more choice than the lounge. I love the porridge although initially they gave wrong order. Prawn noodle also not bad! Egg benedicts are runny and perfect but quite plain and sour, maybe drench in water for too long, bread is too rough. This is quite a value-for-money place to spend your dining credits as the food is tasty and the ambience is awesome for conversations over dinner. We ordered the lobster pasta, a pizza and risotto to share, as well as a mud cake to end of the night on a sweet note! The mud cake was a little unexpected in flavour though as it was coffee flavoured instead of the usual chocolate. Both my friend and I felt that Prego is definitely getting better. It seems the restaurant has undergone a recent renovation, and the refreshed décor gave the space a more modern yet inviting Italian charm. The atmosphere felt livelier and more refined than before. As for the food, it was consistently good—authentic Italian flavors, well-portioned dishes, and a nice balance of traditional and contemporary choices on the menu. We especially enjoyed the pastas, which were perfectly cooked. Service-wise, it felt like the staff were a little stretched thin during our visit. While they were polite and professional, they did seem quite busy and at times hard to flag down.
