Getting There - Via Boat from Changi Ferry Terminal (Good Nasi Lemak there) Attractions - Hills, Seafood, Bike riding, Temples/Shrines Hotels - Nil (Cannot stay there) a day trip Food & Restaurants - Seafood delicious and wonderful Shopping - Nil (There to explore the nature and goodness of Singapore Natural Heritage) Pulau Ubin is a great place to chill relax and enjoy by riding a bike around the island to see the fauna and flora and even the animals (Pigs, Chickens, Monkey, Turtles, Fish etc.) The vibes there are very good and it’s definitely worth going. it is just like back to the kampong days whereby you get to experience everything that is in the nature such as birds chirping. It might be also just like an army outfield.

Datuk Kong Temple is a temple full of history. Pulau Ubin is not truly a lost place. Singaporeans love this island close to the metropolis, as it still retains its natural features. This small ancient temple has been completely rebuilt. The wooden structure and decorations are reminiscent of German culture. It is a charming place of peace and seclusion. Take a taxi to Changi Village Ferry Terminal at 7 AM, and the ride from the city to the ferry terminal costs about 24 SGD. There is also a map of the island available here. There are many large signs indicating the location along the way. The small but good road leads near the temple, followed by a short rocky path, which is great for mountain biking. You only need to overcome a very small gradient.

If you want a place to relax or let your heart pump, Pulau Ubin is the answer. It is an Island in Singapore that is away from city. You can hear nature sounds like birds or insects, waves from the water. We went there on a Sunday, we expected lots of people but then due to frequent rain this past few days maybe that is why it is not crowded. It's our first time to go there and we were really excited that we rented a bike until the rain starts to drop. Lucky the bicycle renting shop sells rain coat so it really helps us alot. We literally got soaked with the rain because we decided to ride the bicycle and explore even though its raining. We don't know when will the rain stop so if we will just wait, we can't explore. We got tired because cycling there is quite challenging first because the slopes are up and down, and its raining. Our shoes were filled with mud but its okay. Spent my last day of 2024 at Pulau Ubin and it was WHOLESOME FUN! 🤩 there are so many things to do and see at Ubin, view was beautiful and people there are so friendly. We took a ferry to Ubin and it cost us $4 per trip, you can choose to bring your own bike too, just need to top up $2 to bring your bike along. It’s about 10 minutes boat ride from Changi village terminal to Ubin terminal. Once you reached Pulau Ubin, you will see many bicycles rental store on your right, it’s just $10 rental fee and you can enjoy it for one while day. There are many bikes for you to choose from, from leisure bike to mountain bike. There are many cycling routes here, we took the blue trial which is the medium difficulty. You can go for the black cycling trial if you are feeling advantageous. We also had a lovely walk at the costal and mangrove trails. It was so fun and educational, definitely a good place to have a family hang out :) I also saw many animals along the way, we saw a hornbill, a few big lizards and monkey. I spent half a day here and will definitely come back again!

#myperfectstaycation nothing like a staycation to be a visitor in your own country by camping at Pulau Ubin. The island outside of mainland Singapore can be accessed by a ferry which leaves every 30minutes or whenever there are 12 people to leave for the boat. Besides camping, people also tend to come here for nature sighting, bicycle trail cycling and get away from the hustle of Singapore

Well spend for hiker,just take about 15-20mins changi ferry to pulau ubin,suitable who looking adventurous,alot rental bicycles here and be careful with monkeys dont bring any plastic bag or food put in your bicycles cos they will stole it..btw alot boar too but they didnt disturb..enjoy the view and hikes aroud its worth it.
