The chartered car driver came to the hotel to pick us up on time and the whole process went very smoothly. Arriving at Punthuk Setumbu, we paid the entrance fee and started walking towards the observation deck. Once you reach the observation deck, the sight before you is stunning. Although the sun has not yet risen, the surrounding mountains and charming scenery are already amazing. As time went on, more and more tourists arrived, and everyone set up their mobile phones and cameras, ready to capture this rare sunrise moment. The sky gradually brightened, the air was fresh and cool, and the scene at sunrise was so beautiful that it was beyond words. Watching the sunrise at Punthuk Setumbu near Yogyakarta was an awesome adventure! We woke up super early, starting our journey from Yogyakarta City at 3:45 am. It took us about 15 minutes to climb up the hill. When we reached the top, we waited for about 30 mins before the sky started to turn pink and orange. The the sun peeked over the horizon at 5:45 am. It was so beautiful! We could see the whole area around us lighting up with the morning sun. Even though we were tired from waking up early, seeing the sunrise made it all worth it.
