The ancient village houses are unique in their wooden stilt-house structure, with houses stacked on top of each other, usually two stories high. The first floor is used for storage, and the second floor is used for living. This is to adapt to the hot and humid climate of the tropical rainforest. The ancient village is not very big. It takes about 3 hours to walk around slowly and drink tea. It is recommended to walk to a high place and look down at the ancient village from above. It looks like a half-moon embedded in the valley. The village is open all night and has not been commercially developed. There are not many choices for food and accommodation. You can visit other villages nearby after visiting the village. Tourist activities Tea culture: Each household in the ancient village has a tea house to receive guests. You can drink tea for free and experience the hospitality of the Dai people. Sightseeing: The Buddhist temple is located at the highest point of the village, which is the best place to view the ancient village.
