Qianlingshan Park Zoo is located on the platform of Zengbofeng Mountain. It is a garden for breeding and studying wild animals. It was built in 1958 and covers an area of 75,500 square meters. The terrain is relatively flat, rising from the gate to the back. Yishan Shungu has built various cage houses and farms, including a black langur hall, panda specimen showroom, lion and tiger hall, bear pond, deer garden, etc., with a cage area of 3,300 square meters. There are a variety of rare animals on display, including the national rare protected animals, the northeast tiger, African lion, the money leopard, the peacock, camel bird, emu, the big swans, the antelope, etc., and the unique precious animals of Guizhou, the South China tiger, the black langur, the long-tailed pheasant, the red-bellied brocade chicken, the white pheasant, etc.
In terms of raising and breeding wildlife, the zoo has successfully breeded 51 South China tigers, supported 13 urban zoos in China, and exported them to Sudan, North Korea and other places.
