In 1914, a group of overseas Chinese living in New Zealand formed a real estate company to buy land and build houses near Shiwancun. Mr. Huang Lige, an overseas Chinese, first built a four-building, three-story Qiming Building, which is now No. 39 to 42 Qimingli. This is why the area is called Qimingli. Later, overseas Chinese from all over the world introduced each other and bought land and built houses here. The appearance of the houses is based on the traditional Lingnan residential style, with a large number of Western elements. The structure is mostly cement mixed structure, with blue bricks. Spend a weekend in Jiangmen~ I actually only found out about Jiangmen because of the TV series "The Knockout", so it's no surprise to see "The Knockout" merchandise all over the streets. The filming location for "The Knockout" is called Sanshi San Xu Street (P1-P10). The name comes from the 33 bluestone steps at Shuibotou, which were built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. Shops line both sides of the steps, making it the birthplace of Jiangmen's economy and culture. Park your boat at Shuibotou and walk up the 33 steps to enter the market. However, Sanshi San Xu Street does not refer to a specific street, but rather a collective term for several historical streets, including Xuding Street, Dizhong Street, Chang'an Road, Lianping Road, Xingning Road, and Beijie. The market was originally located on Xuding Street, which is now the most prosperous street and the one with the most "The Knockout" elements. I switched to a shared bicycle and realized that the non-motor vehicle lane is really poorly designed. It's narrow, and the right and left turn lights are on at the same time. Right-turning motor vehicles don't give way to left-turning non-motor vehicles. The red light is 99 seconds! If the design can have three digits, will there be hundreds of seconds... I've opened my eyes. Guangdong's electric chicken army is well-deserved.

Now, with the revitalization of the district, Qiming Li has even risen to become a national AAA-rated tourist attraction and one of the first batch of tourism and leisure districts in Guangdong Province!

I saw some bloggers advising against it online, but I still went with the filter of 'The Wild Goose Lake' in mind, and I regret it so much! The wind was at level four that day, and it was drizzling. I only wore a thin jacket, and I was freezing. After getting off the bus, you'll hear a lot of motorcyclists shouting in Cantonese. It's only 3km to Thirty-Three Market Street, but they were charging way too much, especially since it was raining at the time. So we went to sit next to the driver and booked a 'Handheld Reservation Bus', which costs 5 yuan per person no matter where you go, and that was relatively cost-effective. After arriving at Thirty-Three Market, the ancient buildings inside were well preserved, and walking on the street felt like traveling back to the end of the last century. We went to eat at a Lai Fen restaurant that was featured on CCTV; I ordered the lotus root and pork rib Lai Fen. The soup was rich, but I didn't like the peanut sauce. Because it was so boring, we braved the strong wind and rode bicycles to Rainbow Village. I have to say, the transportation is really inconvenient! The shared bicycles have fixed positions, and there are only so many squares; you have to get to the point to return them, which is different from Guangzhou. It took a lot of pushing and shoving before we could return them. We originally planned to go back at 8 pm, but there was nowhere else to go, and the other attractions were quite far apart. We stayed in a coffee shop for a long time and felt we really couldn't stay any longer, so we changed our tickets and took the train back to Guangzhou at around 5 pm. In conclusion; when going out, you must check the weather, or else the experience will be greatly diminished. It's best to drive to Jiangmen, having a car will be much more convenient!
