Qingdao is a lovely city with a seriously calming atmosphere. I loved the chilled vibe of walking along the beaches and just following the path to see where it would take me. By doing this I found the Qingdao sculpture park, the building part was not open so I can’t tell you what it’s like inside but the park area around it was fascinating. So many people seemingly travel to take photos of the unusual sculptures that fill the nearby grassy area, it’s a nice walk through the paths with sculptures on either side to enjoy. I particularly liked how the sculptures were different to what you can usually see. Of course, typical lunar related sculptures were around but most of the arty styles were different and quite out there!
