Monkeys are more active in winter. Visit the icefalls in Quanpu Gorge. This year, there are also penguins and monkeys enjoying the hot springs. Hongshi Gorge is a must-see core attraction. Standing on the edge of the cliff at Red Stone Gorge, the red rocks and green water in the valley inexplicably match the helpless affection in "In the Name of Love." Just like the song, love and time intertwine and settle in the gorge, making people intoxicated. Following the winding mountain road, I arrive at Qingtian River. The mountains and water here depend on each other, like the gentle whispers in the lyrics. Boarding a cruise ship, the breeze brushes my face, and I can't help but hum. At this moment, I become a unique note in the mountains and water. As night falls, I head to the bustling night market and order a serving of authentic Naotang donkey meat. The meat is tender and melts in your mouth. Listening to the laughter and chatter around me, accompanied by the melody of "In the Name of Love," this is the unique human touch of Jiaozuo. The river meanders through steep cliffs and gorges, occasionally accompanied by birdsong, making you feel like you are in a paradise. ☀️ Yuntai Mountain Yuntai Mountain, one of the most famous mountains in Henan Province besides Mount Laojun, is located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo. The main attractions include Red Stone Gorge, Zhuyu Peak, and the Tan Waterfall Gorge and Quan Waterfall Gorge. Tickets are valid for two days and include a scenic area shuttle transfer. It's a great place to cool off in the summer and view ice formations in the winter, and I think it's the best-equipped commercial tourist area in the province. 🌈 Qingtian River Located in Bo'ai County, Jiaozuo, it's a World Geopark and also part of the Taihang Mountain Nature Reserve. Viewing the autumn leaves is a major highlight. When visiting Qingtian River, you must take a boat ride; it's like floating on emerald waves, as if you are in a painting. ☁️ Shennong Mountain Situated in Qinyang, Jiaozuo, it is said that the legendary Emperor Shennong identified grains and tasted herbs here, offering sacrifices to the heavens, hence the name Shennong Mountain. The Dragon Ridge Great Wall, a world geological wonder, is the most representative natural landscape of Shennong Mountain and is also a macaque sanctuary. 🌟 Qinglong Gorge Qinglong Gorge and Fenglin Gorge are two major attractions independently located in the western area of Yuntai Mountain, both in Xiuwu County. Fenglin Gorge is within the Qinglong Gorge scenic area. Qinglong Gorge features a mountain cableway and multiple waterfalls suitable for hiking, trekking, and water play, while Fenglin Gorge has lakes and cableways ideal for sightseeing and enjoying the scenery. ☁️ Xieji Cantonese Snacks A tiny shop, but incredibly delicious. It's always super crowded to the point where you have to eat on the roadside. Their honey-glazed char siu rice is their signature dish, so tasty you'll want to lick the plate clean, and not greasy at all!! 🌈 Mulinxuan Fresh Cut Lamb Clay Pot This place isn't in Jiaozuo city center but in Xiuwu County town, yet the taste is absolutely exceptional. It's worth driving half an hour from Jiaozuo just to eat here!! Their lamb is visibly fresh, stewed on the spot. It's recommended to make a reservation in advance. 💧 Intestine Noodles Near the East Second Ring, this noodle shop serves huge portions and the taste is also very good. The highlight is their tender duck heads, which are different from other places. They are soft and mushy, melting in your mouth. You definitely must try the duck heads!! 🌟 Wuzhi Hongxing Clay Pot Garden Speaking of Jiaozuo's cuisine, how can we forget Wuzhi clay pots!! The clay pot from this shop on Chang'en Road tops my list. Pour on freshly fried hot chili segments, and the sizzling oil and aroma hit you right away~ It's simply intoxicating!! 💥 Dongji Roujiamo This is also a delicacy from Xiuwu. Their roujiamo is completely different from what you eat elsewhere. Their meat is like braised meat, very tender and flavorful, incredibly fragrant and delicious, so good it'll make you cry.

Just like Guilin, better than the Three Gorges Jiaozuo Qingtian River combines the water towns of the south of the Yangtze River and the pastoral scenery of the north. It is known as the "Three Gorges of the North" and the "Guilin Landscape". This is the Qingtian River in Jiaozuo. There are the world's unique natural Great Wall and the world's wonders of stone chickens laying eggs; there are the unique alpine canyon wetland scenery in the Central Plains; there is the "China's No. 1 Spring" Sangu Spring with a maximum water output of 7 cubic meters per second and a hole diameter of 2.18 meters. This spring forms a 7.5-kilometer-long Daquan Lake. The scenic spot also has a rich cultural history. One of the scenic spots is "Tianjingguan", which was once the place where ancient military strategists faced off. You can not only enjoy the scenery of the scroll, but also taste the depth of history.

Boai Qingtianhe Zhiqing Village There is a place called Zhiqing Village in Qingtianhe Scenic Spot, Boai County, Jiaozuo City. In the 1970s, they were assigned to the Qingling River Changling Forest Area, and they turned around 50 years later. The barren hills of that year were already flourishing, but no matter how long it took, the younger generation still remembered the younger generation.
