Chengdu 3-Day, 2-Night Itinerary (No Detours)
🗺️Itinerary
Day 1️⃣: Arrive in Chengdu in the morning, head straight to the hotel to drop off your luggage, and then go to Kuanzhai Alley.
🔸This area consists of Kuan Alley, Zhai Alley, and Jing Alley, where you can experience the charm of old Chengdu. Check out the Kuanzhai ceramic tile wall and hitching posts, and enjoy tea and reading at the Jianshan Bookstore. When you're tired, go to the nearby Kuixinglou Street for food, such as Chunli Roasted Duck, where the roasted duck is crispy and the side dishes are flavorful.
🔹In the afternoon, go to People's Park, order a cup of covered-cup tea, bask in the sun, and experience the slow life of Chengdu. You can also enjoy the pleasure of ear cleaning.
🔸In the evening, go to IFS, take a photo with the climbing panda, and then go shopping in Taikoo Li, where fashion and classicism combine to create a great atmosphere.
Day 2️⃣: Chengdu Museum → Qingyang Palace → Jiuyan Bridge.
🔸Chengdu Museum is located on the west side of Tianfu Square. Make a reservation in advance for free admission. The permanent exhibition halls from the second to fifth floors showcase the evolution of Chengdu from ancient Shu to modern times, where you can see stone rhinoceros and giant boat coffins.
🔹Next, head to Qingyang Palace, a famous Taoist temple on the first ring road of Chengdu. The main hall, Sanqing Hall, enshrines the "Three Pure Ones," and there are two bronze goats that are the treasures of the temple. You can enjoy tea and play cards in the teahouse behind the courtyard.
🔸In the evening, go to Jiuyan Bridge to see the night view and experience Chengdu's nightlife. The lights are colorful and beautiful!
Day 3️⃣: Wuhou Shrine → Jinli Ancient Street → Return trip.
🔸In the morning, go to Wuhou Shrine, a shrine commemorating Zhuge Liang. The "red wall and bamboo shadow" is great for taking pictures. Don't miss it if you like the culture of the Three Kingdoms.
🔹Have hotpot for lunch near Wuhou Shrine. Shudaxia is recommended for its spicy and delicious flavors.
🔸In the afternoon, go to Jinli Ancient Street, which is next to Wuhou Shrine. It is quaint and charming, and the red lanterns create a great atmosphere. There are various snacks and handicraft shops where you can fully enjoy the fun of food and shopping. Then prepare for your return trip and end your pleasant trip to Chengdu.

✅Kaojiang Spicy Grilled Fish: Classic spicy grilled fish with tender fish. Be sure to order the black bean curd, which is super flavorful.
✅Wumei Maocai Roasted Duck: The roasted duck skin is crispy, and the Maocai soup is rich and fragrant.
✅Zhong Dumplings: Red oil dumplings with a sweet and spicy taste. You can't stop eating them one by one.
✅Tangyou Guozi (candied fried glutinous rice balls): Crispy on the outside and glutinous on the inside, sweet and delicious, it is one of Chengdu's special snacks.
