Mount Qixia is known as the "Scenic Spot of the Six Dynasties". In history, five kings and fourteen emperors have climbed Mount Qixia. In the Ming Dynasty, it was listed as one of the "Forty-eight Scenic Spots of Jinling" and has the reputation of "One Mount Qixia, half of the history of Jinling". Qixia Mountain originated in the Six Dynasties and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Because "there are many herbs in the mountain that can be used for health preservation", it was called "Sheshan" in ancient times. It has three peaks, east, middle and west, which are respectively called "Longshan, Fengxiang and Hushan".
