Qixia Pit Ancient Path is located in Xikou Town, Fenghua District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. On December 27, 2023, it was recognized as a first-class ancient path in Zhejiang Province by the Zhejiang Provincial Forestry Bureau and other departments, with a verified length of 8,878 meters. Qixia Pit Ancient Path was excavated during the Tang Dynasty and is rich in cultural atmosphere, known as the 'Road of Tang Poetry.' According to statistics, among the more than 2,200 poets included in the 'Complete Tang Poems,' over 400 poets have visited this scenic route. Qixia Pit Ancient Path is paved with stones and pebbles, with gurgling streams, chirping birds, and beautiful scenery along the way. The narrow ancient path is shaded by dense forests, surrounded by mountains, with long and secluded valleys. The pebble-paved path follows a small stream westward into the deep mountain gorge to Qixia Pit. At the entrance of the village, there is an ancient building in the late Qing Dynasty style—the Wang Family Ancestral Hall. The hike takes 2 hours, ending at Tangtian Village in Yuyao. Along the way, there are also a large number of red maples, turning fiery red in spring and autumn, making it feel like walking through a sea of red. There is also a section of golden larch dirt road, green in spring and golden in autumn, commonly known as the Golden Ancient Path.

Location of Qixiakeng: Xikou Town, Fenghua, Ningbo. The village lies beside a stream, and it's not frequented by many tourists on ordinary days, retaining an ancient simplicity. Most villagers bear the surname Wang, descendants of Wang Xizhi, and nowadays, mostly the elderly remain. The Qixia Ancient Trail passes through this village. One can choose to walk along the relatively easy path beside the stream, or opt for the mountain steps trail. Both paths eventually lead to Tangtian Village in Yuyao.
