I had some time on my way to SM North Edsa in Quezon City, so I visited this park. It's a large, green park with a very large monument in the middle. It's a pretty iconic building that stands out even on the map. Quezon Memorial Park was built to commemorate Manuel L. Quezon, the first president of the Philippines. It's crowded with locals visiting with their families, couples, and friends. There is a museum inside the monument, and you can learn about the history of Manuel L. Quezon for free. However, almost everything is written in Tagalog, so if you don't understand the language, it's difficult to understand the details, but you can enjoy the atmosphere. There are many stands selling snacks and drinks in the park, so you can sit and relax at the bench tables. It might be a good idea to take a walk or jog on your days off to get some exercise.
