The water source of Quyang Lake comes from the surrounding mountains and rivers. The lake water is crystal clear and surrounded by green mountains and clear waters. It is an ideal leisure and vacation destination. The scenery of Quyang Lake is breathtaking. The lake surface is as calm as a mirror, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds and the surrounding mountains. There are dense woods and green meadows by the lake, making people feel the tranquility and beauty of nature. Sometimes you can even see farmers dragging their cows past, which is a completely rural feel. There are many routes suitable for cycling enthusiasts around Quyang Lake. Here are some recommended routes: Lakeside Route: This route is about 20 kilometers long and circles the entire Quyang Lake. The road surface is flat and suitable for beginners and family tourists. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains along the way, and it is a very popular route. Forest Adventure Route: This route is about 15 kilometers long and passes through the forest area near the lake. The road surface is relatively rugged and suitable for cyclists who like challenges. You can see various wild animals and plants along the way, which is a good opportunity to get close to nature.

If you plan to tour around Quyang Lake, it takes about four hours by bicycle, so hiking is not recommended. Visitors who prefer self-driving or renting a car can drive around the lake, but be cautious as the roads are quite narrow. Alternatively, visitors can choose to take a sightseeing boat tour, which takes about two hours. We arrived at Quyang Lake at 3 PM and chose to cycle around the lake. The bike rental fee is $30 for 2 hours, and $10 for each additional hour, with the latest return time at 6 PM. Quyang Lake is surrounded by rolling hills of varying heights, offering picturesque scenery along the way. You can capture beautiful photos from different angles, just like a landscape painting. Along the way, you can see many villagers herding livestock, some grazing cattle, and others herding ducks, enjoying a leisurely life. The best spot to watch the sunset at Quyang Lake is near the dam at the entrance. We managed to return the bikes to the visitor center by 6 PM and waited at the dam for the sunset. Although the clouds obscured most of the sun that day, rays of sunlight still pierced through the clouds, creating a stunning 'Jesus light' effect.

Getting There - The place is not of easy access, we hired a driver🚗 and came from Nanning by car, it took around 4 hours but including a stop or around 2 hours in another destination where we had the chance to see the spring goose and rice fields. Attractions - just take a boat ⛵️and enjoy a ride of a little over or one hour around the lake surround by beautiful mountains everywhere. The best part is that seems to not be very well know yet, therefore we were the only ones in the boat, it felt like a private tour only for us ! 😎 Hotels - we did not stay here, but seems there are some hotels in the lake, anyway I would recommend to go and sleep somewhere else, probably the driver can suggest some good option. May Day Kunming-Guangxi Small-Group Tour Guide Released: Jingxi Chapter 2 Baise-Jingxi Bus-1.5 Hours Travel The fare from Baise Chengdong Bus Station to Jingxi Jingyu Bus Station is 40 yuan per person. You can buy tickets online on WeChat "Chicheng Travel", set your hotel and other specific locations, and they will also provide door-to-door pick-up and drop-off services. If you want to drive yourself, you can choose the "most beautiful highway in China" Hena Expressway, which is about 150 kilometers, takes 2 hours, and costs about 65 yuan. There are continuous karst peaks all the way. Jingxi Tour Jingxi is the second stop of Guangxi's niche tourist route. It has many attractions, including Quyang Lake, Gulongshan Grand Canyon, etc. It is recommended to visit for 2-3 days. We only chose Quyang Lake because of the weather, but Quyang Lake did not disappoint us, instead it amazed us! To go from Jingxi to Quyang Lake, you can take a bus at the bus station and tell the driver to go to Quyang Lake. The driver will remind you when you arrive at the station. You need to scan the code on the bus and pay 14 yuan per person. The journey is about 30 kilometers and takes 1 hour. The last return bus is at about 4 o'clock. Tell the driver your phone number and contact him in advance. After getting off the bus, there is a dam on the right. You can take a boat tour on the lake with the villagers, or take a motorcycle taxi to the Yiqishan Observation Deck for 5 yuan. We took the villagers' boat, which cost 50 yuan per person (negotiable, if you tell us in advance that you want to go to the observation deck). There were not many people, so we had the boat to ourselves. After touring the lake, we went to the observation deck area on the other side, and the boat was waiting on the shore. There is no entrance fee to the observation deck, but a garbage management fee of 10 yuan is charged. If you drive to the Qishan Observation Deck in Quyangyi, a parking fee of 10 yuan is charged. The observation deck is at the top of the mountain. It has stair railings and can be reached in more than ten minutes.
