I'll stay at this hotel next time I'm in Shanghai. It's good and not expensive!!!
Radisson Collection Yangtze Shanghai
⭐️Radisson Collection Yangtze Shanghai is a hotel with a long history. It was built in the 1990s. It used to be the Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel, and now it's part of the Jinjiang Group's Radisson Collection.
🏨The hotel seems to have been renovated, the lobby is very new, and you can't see any traces of history. The lobby bar is on the right side of the first floor entrance, with a hollow design, and a curio shelf on the side as a barrier, and a wave-shaped crystal lamp in the air.
🍮Berry Good Afternoon Tea - The recently launched afternoon tea is strawberry-themed, including three-tier afternoon tea, two drinks, and a fresh strawberry chocolate fondue. Because it's made to order, the three-tier afternoon tea takes a bit longer to wait. The desserts are all very delicate.
🍹The Strawberry Kiss cocktail is also very good.
Overall, the breakfast is satisfactory:
I forgot to take a photo but it was very rich, with an egg station, a noodle station with local Shanghai noodles, regular Western breakfast, the four local Shanghai pastries, freshly squeezed juices, everything you could want. The hotel was fully booked that day, and it's been a long time since I've had to find a seat in a hotel breakfast restaurant.
Executive Lounge:
The environment is very good, the cheesecake for afternoon tea is delicious, with salty snacks, cookies, it's a good place to relax and kill time. Happy hour is also very generous, with corn rib soup, Thai curry pineapple seafood fried rice, smoked duck, lemongrass roast chicken, stir-fried vegetables and noodles, salad, cold dishes, various wines and freshly squeezed juices, 4 kinds of cheese and 4 kinds of desserts
Public area and swimming pool:
The public area still feels like a luxurious five-star hotel as soon as you walk in, the swimming pool is a bit small and I didn't go swimming, the corridor ceiling is very low and a bit oppressive, but it's understandable for an old hotel
Overall, even if the rooms are a bit old, it's cheap, you can sleep well on the comfortable bedding, drink coffee anytime, and the rich breakfast and good quality executive lounge are really good
