Our lunch feast was held after the cruise cocktail party and was arranged at Zixuan’s French restaurant, Sanyan Pavilion. Mr. Jean-François Ferret, CEO of Relais & Chateaux, came from afar and attended the cocktail party with representatives of member hotels in Asia and delivered a pre-dinner speech. This lunch was probably the longest one I have ever had. It lasted until nearly 16:30 in the afternoon, a total of four hours. It's also a nice choice for a summer retreat. The bathroom amenities are from Acqua di Parma, the cups are Givenchy, and the sound system is Marshall. Aside from wine and spirits, everything in the mini-bar is replenished daily for free. For breakfast, you can choose from Japanese, Chinese, or English set meals. Dinner was at the hotel's Black Pearl restaurant: Jie Xiang Lou, with exquisite dishes, attentive service, and decent taste, though not astonishing. If there's a downside: the wooden structure's sound insulation is weak, and at night you can hear planes flying over the roof. It's not recommended for those with poor sleep or nervous disorders.
