#familytrips2024 If you're staying at Imperial Heritage Melaka, there's this awesome Nyonya food spot nearby that's super authentic. It's just a short walk away. The food there is packed with flavor, and the prices won't break the bank. Definitely give their Pineapple Curry Prawn, Sour Chili Okra, Nasi Pandan Kukus, and Cendol Gula Melaka a try. The staff are all really nice and helpful, and they know their stuff when it comes to recommending dishes. Oh, and word to the wise, make sure to book ahead 'cause it gets pretty busy. Atlantic Nyonya Restaurant has 3 branches in Melaka, one of it located in Jalan Merdeka, Taman Merdeka Raya. This Muslim friendly restaurant serves authentic Nyonya cuisine; a mix of Chinese ingredients with Malay/Indonesian spices and cooking methods. Came here for late lunch with my Malay & Indian friends, we had Chicken Ponteh, Sambal Chilli Okra, Ikan Asam Pedas(spicy sour fish), Rendang Chicken and Ayam goreng berempah(fried chicken with spices). Of course Cendol for dessert! All dishes were awesome and full of flavour, especially the sambal chilli. Cozy ambience and price wise is reasonable, average Rm35/pax for 6 of us.
