The Rudolf Hall is a well-known old-fashioned concert hall and home to the orchestra "Czech Philharmonic". Being able to listen to a classical concert in the main hall Dvořák Hall has also become a higher dream of classical fans. Historical Background The Rudolf Concert Hall is located in the Rudolf Palace in the Old Town. Rudolph Palace was first built in 1876 and completed in 1884. It was built by the royal family at that time to support the arts and culture movement. The original intention was to build a venue with a concert hall and exhibitions at the same time. The design of the whole building refers to the Dresden State Opera House in Germany, with a strong neo-Renaissance style. Tour Guide Today Rudolf Palace includes the Rudolf Concert Hall, art gallery and café. The Rudolf Hall has two concert halls, the main hall Dvořák Hall is the venue for major classical concerts, where an earlier performance of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra was conducted, conducted by Antonín Dvořák. The smaller Suk Room is used for rehearsals, make-up and recording studios. Tickets are recommended to visit outside the concert hall. If you want to listen to a classical concert in the Rudolf Concert Hall, you can learn about the repertoire of each performance, the orchestra performing, the conductor and the ticket price of seats with different views on the official website in advance.
