#petronatwintowers No one can beat the light of PETRONAS☺️🎆 The Petronas Twin Towers are absolutely beautiful and one of the most iconic sights we saw in Kuala Lumpur. Thanks to our guide Ilyas from Skyline Holidays we were able to visit twice, once during the day and again at night. Even though we were not able to get tickets to go inside, both visits from the outside were unforgettable. In the daylight the towers stood tall and striking against the sky. At night they lit up brilliantly and felt even more magical. We took lots of photos and just stood there admiring how stunning they looked. My daughters were completely fascinated and kept asking questions about how tall they were and how they were built. Even though we could not go up the experience still felt very special. The towers have such a unique and elegant design. We were especially grateful that we had tickets to KL Tower instead which gave us an amazing view of the city. But seeing the Petronas Twin Towers up close even just from the outside was one of the highlights of our trip. This is a place that leaves a lasting impression. Just being near it made us pause and take it all in. A must see for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. #holidayvacation

This second time of KL trip wasn’t really about sightseeing or chasing photo spots — I was mainly there to enjoy the MLBB M6 tournament with my husband and little brother 🎮🇲🇾. So I didn’t plan for much, just soaking in the city vibes. The buildings lit up beautifully as dusk settled in, and there was a calm energy around the place that made me want to just walk and soak everything in. The atmosphere around The Exchange TRX was lively but not too crowded — perfect for an after-work stroll or casual evening out. I explored the wide open spaces outside, where people were chilling, taking photos, and enjoying the city breeze. It’s modern, clean, and felt like a different side of Kuala Lumpur I hadn’t experienced before. Inside the mall, everything was sleek and well-designed. I didn’t go there to shop much, but I enjoyed walking around, checking out the different corners and little shops. Even just hanging out around the square felt refreshing with the city skyline as your backdrop. Travel Tips & How to Get There: • Getting there: Super convenient via MRT – TRX Station, which connects directly to the mall. No hassle at all. • Best time to visit: Evening. Exploring Malaysia is a very affordable place. Visiting Jalan Alor to taste their must try foods at a lower price. Staying In Ceylonz is a nice choice where you can see the Kuala Lumpur Tower, and swim in their infinity pool where you can take a lot of beautiful and instagramable pictures. Their place is wide with complete amenities. Of course, we can't miss the twin tower where you needed to go early to get the best photo spot. Going to Batu Caves must be included in your list, and an hour of exploring, go directly to French Village. KL day out with the fam! 👶🏻🚌 We started our fun journey from Sunway Putra Hotel, where we stayed the night. Just for the experience, we hopped on the last Hop-On Hop-Off bus — best way to explore the city! 😍 Got to see KL Tower, the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, and so many cool spots along the way. 🥰 It was a baby-friendly ride—my baby enjoyed the cool breeze! 👶🏻💨 Travel tip: breastfeed your baby before the ride so they stay comfy and calm during the tour. 💡 Tickets were RM30 per adult, and we chose the day tour. I stayed at Hotel Indigo KL for two nights, and it turned out to be one of the most comfortable stays I’ve had in the city. The room was spacious, beautiful, and filled with natural light. Very good for taking pictures and makes you feel very calm. Instead of curtains, they use blackout blinds, and they actually do the job. I slept through both mornings without meaning to. The bed was that soft, sink-right-in type that makes it hard to get up, and the pillows were just right. Not too soft & not too hard. The room temperature was perfectly set too. Quiet, cool, and comfortable. I didn’t even need the blanket. They’ve paid attention to the small stuff, which I thought was nice: - Nespresso machine in the room - A proper tea set with a surprisingly good selection (not just Lipton) - Refillable water and ice buckets on request - A nostalgic congkak set in the room - Full-sized Biology shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (smelled great and didn’t dry out my hair) - Built-in speakers that were actually good.. perfect for lo-fi in the background - The only downside: TV had very limited channels. Bring a laptop + HDMI cable if you plan to watch anything 🍳Breakfast – Better Than Expected This was a solid 8/10. -Nasi lemak with actual spicy sambal ikan bilis -Fresh roti jala and roti canai with thick and rich chicken curry - Kuih-muih that tasted homemade - A great bread and spread section (Pandan Kaya!!!) - Their coffee was superb too! - Crazy selection of cheeses for their cheese platter... though I did find it funny that there were no crackers in sight 😅 - Can improve on their scrambled eggs though… tasteless. 📍 Parking Valet parking RM20/day with unlimited in-and-outs perfect if you’re driving Did i also mention gym is 24 hours?! Since my travel companions are visiting Malaysia for the first time and we only have half a day, I planned a highlight-packed City Walk! 🗓️ Itinerary: Start at Merdeka Square (1-3) 📷 Head to the River of Life (4) Walk towards Central Market (5,6) Continue to Petaling Street (7-8 are sights along the way) (Personally, I find Petaling Street quite average, so I didn’t take many photos. The main purpose was to let my companions experience it.) End at REXKL (9-10), an ultra-cool bookstore! A must-visit for photos! It’s super photogenic! Definitely worth going!!! My family’s photos didn’t turn out well, so I didn’t include them 😅 After taking photos, walk along the street with plenty of eateries (11-12). I casually snapped some pictures of nice-looking shops. A whirlwind half-day tour to capture some great photos—this is the ultimate City Walk! 🥳
