It cost 5,000 yen from Karasuma to Rurikoin, and I don't remember how much the taxi to Sanzen-in cost. I felt that it was quite rushed to visit Rurikoin Temple, Hijuzan Temple, Sanzenin Temple and Kifune Shrine in one day. 1⃣️Rurikoin is packed every day in autumn, and you can’t get in without an appointment in advance. We paid someone to make the appointment, which was not expensive but saved us a lot of trouble. ⚠️Pay special attention to wearing thick socks when it’s cold❗️Otherwise, stepping on the cold wooden boards will really cause your period to come out! Affects the perception! When you enter the courtyard, you will be given a small bag containing paper and pen for copying scriptures. There is a special place in the courtyard where you can copy scriptures. It's really enjoyable to drink tea in such a nice environment. After the tour, you can buy your favorite souvenirs. I bought myself a small bowl, which can help me calm down when I’m upset. Tour route: Take the bus from Kawaramachi Shijo at 8 am - Sanzenin Temple - Rurikoin Temple - Eizan Railway - Kibune Shrine - return to the city 1️⃣ Sanzen-in Temple P2-P7: Ticket price: 700 yen.
