The chanko nabe course, which is the meal that sumo wrestlers eat to build up their strength, will fill you up in one sitting. Ryogoku may be a town where you can save money on food if you are visiting with a family of four or more people.

💐Atmosphere/Facilities: There are many memorial monuments in the temple grounds, but the daytime animal memorial monument and the memorial tower for pets are always filled with flowers, and even though they are graves, they have a warm and familiar atmosphere. Founded in 1657 (Meireki 3). In the same year, the Great Fire of Meireki burned down most of Edo, and the temple established the "Manzanzuka" tomb for unclaimed Buddhas, and many unclaimed Buddhas were buried there afterwards, so it is also called Muen-dera. The temple preaches the mercy of Buddha to both humans and animals, and on the grounds there are memorials, memorial monuments, and pet graves for various animals, including dogs, cats, and small birds. 』
