#AccommodationReview I was getting tired of the hostel trip, so I searched Trip.com and stayed here. It was my first time in Ryogoku and I was unsure of how to get there, but the Sobu Line might be the answer. (The Oedo Line is often on the third basement floor and has no elevators or escalators. If you're taking the subway, it might be best to transfer at Yotsuya.) It was quite cheap, but it was a luxurious hotel with a bubble-era feel, with a wide balcony and a view of the Shuto Expressway and the Sobu Line. Looking at the Sobu Line at night reminded me of 999. Maetel. It would be great if I could see videos of the efforts of each era!

It's located right opposite the west exit of Ryogoku Station, so it's easy to get to. I stayed here because it was a bit of an unusual room and it was 3,500 yen per night on the day I stayed, so it was a great deal. This time I stayed in a double-decker room with bunk beds. I was staying alone, so I could use the lower bunk as a sofa, and it was so comfortable that I ended up falling asleep on the sofa lol. There is a height limit compared to a normal sofa, so it may be better or worse for some people, but I was very happy to be able to use a spacious sofa by myself in a single room. The bedding is set on the upper bunk, so it can be a bit of a hassle to get up and down, but the bed was clean and made so I was able to sleep comfortably. There is a boundary between the carpet at the entrance and the flooring, so you can take off your shoes before getting up.
