"Sabaidee@lao Hotel" is the best hotel with full of hospitality. The location is very convenient, as it is halfway between Nam Phu Square and Talat Sao. It is also a 7-8 minute walk from Wat Mixai, where the minibus drops you off, so you don't have to worry about luggage. They responded well to my email before the stay, and even though my flight suddenly changed and I ended up staying late at night, they waited for me at the front desk and arranged for the bus the next morning, which was really helpful.
