As a Unesco World Hertiga Site, it is no longer a surprise why a lot of tourists would wanna come here wether they want to pray or just admire the beauty its architecture. It has survived numerous earthquakes already but up to this day it is still standin though restorations were done as well. It is indeed an amazing sight to behold. #Must-see historic site [San Agustin Church of Paoay] 📍Marcos Ave, Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines This is the historic PAOAY cathedral built in 1710 during the Spanish colonial period! It is a building in the Baroque style that was popular at the time, and it has enough historical value to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. My personal tip is that it is too hot during the day, so I recommend visiting early and buying a sandwich or something from a nearby cafe and eating it in the park in front💕 Don't forget to take a picture next to the PAOAY stone!!! Some days the interior of the church is open to the public, and some days it is not, so I recommend checking in advance and going!
