Lushan Travel Guide: Unlocking the Beauty of Mountains, Rivers, and Culture
| Unlocking the Beauty of Mountains, Rivers, and Culture. 🌄 My dears, I recently took a trip to Lushan, and the scenery was absolutely stunning! But if you don't do your homework before you come, you'll really take a lot of detours 😅. Today, I'm here to share my Lushan travel experience with you. It's super detailed, and this one article is enough. Save it quickly!
🚗 Transportation
Lushan is very convenient to get to, with several options available.
🚌 If you take the train to Jiujiang Station, you can take a special bus directly to Guling Town in Lushan after exiting the station. The ticket costs about CNY 20, and the journey takes 1–2 hours.
🚗 If you are driving, head towards Lushan North Mountain Park Gate via Hehualong to the Jiuwei Avenue from Jiujiang; tourists coming from Nanchang can get off the expressway at the Tongyuan exit and arrive at Lushan South Mountain Park Gate. However, be aware that the road to Lushan is a winding mountain road with many bends. If you are prone to motion sickness, remember to prepare motion sickness medicine in advance.
🚠 To visit the attractions on Lushan Mountain, you must take the Lushan sightseeing bus. Private cars and taxis are not allowed to enter the scenic area. The sightseeing bus ticket is CNY 70/person and is valid for 7 days. You can get on and off at any stop, which is very convenient.
🎫 Special Ticket Offers
The Lushan Scenic Area ticket is CNY 160/person and covers most of the attractions. However, attractions such as the San Die Spring and the Shimenjian Scenic Area require separate tickets.
🌟 San Die Spring ticket is CNY 64/person. You must visit this spot. There is a saying that goes, "You haven't been to Lushan if you haven't been to San Die Spring." The majestic waterfall will really shock you.
🌟 Shimenjian Scenic Area ticket is CNY 52/person. Here, you'll find unique geological landscapes, deep canyons, and groups of waterfalls.
🏠 Accommodation Recommendations
There are many accommodation options in Lushan. Here are some recommendations based on different budgets and needs:
👍 If your budget allows, I highly recommend the Lushan Jihao Huaihai International Howard Johnson Hotel. It has a rating of 4.7 and is hidden in the valley, where you can quietly enjoy the sunset and sea of clouds. The room facilities are luxurious, and the service is super attentive. There is also the Lushan Hotel, a century-old ancient building where you can enjoy the spring scenery of Lushan. It is full of historical charm, and the photos look great.
👍 If you want a boutique homestay with a higher cost performance, the Lushan Songmo Homestay is a good choice. It has a Japanese-style pine forest courtyard, as well as a private hot spring and barbecue. It's super cozy. Huazhu · Lushan Yueyao Homestay (Lushan Xiaotianchi Branch) is also very good, with a rating of 4.9. Located on Lushan Mountain, you can see the mountains when you look up and the fog when you open the window, as if you are in a fairyland.
✨ Tour Order
Lushan attractions can be roughly divided into the East Line, the West Line, and other areas. It is recommended to visit the West Line first, and then the East Line, so that you don't have to backtrack and you can see all the essential attractions. The West Line is rich in cultural landscapes and beautiful natural scenery; the East Line is mainly composed of magnificent mountain scenery.

🎈12:30: Taste Lushan's special delicacies in nearby restaurants, such as Lushan stone fungus, bamboo shoots with braised pork, and stone fish omelet.
