It houses a total of 33,000 works of art, including modern paintings, sculptures, photographs, design, and media works. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, which is considered one of the best modern art museums in the western United States, can be enjoyed even if you don't like art. SFMoMA was a fanatic museum. The renovations over the last several years really improved the gallery space. I particularly enjoyed the audio guide tour with several famous artists curating narrative experiences. Budget the better part of a day to visit here. #triplocal

I was especially impressed by the museum’s impressive architecture and the rooftop garden, which offers great views of the city. 🌆🌿 After exploring the museum, I strolled through the nearby Yerba Buena Gardens and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the park. Charriere drills the rock core in the way of drilling ice cores. Each drilling makes the huge stone lighter and more fragile - a metaphor for the current environmental crisis. Only when people squat down can they see the hollow and fragile of the huge stone. The polar ice core seals the climate history and geological history, and the stone cores arranged on the ground like rollers hint at an ancient way of transporting heavy objects. Charriere seems to be linking the process of human and earth interaction with the similarity of forms. In front of the flashback background of the night glacier snowstorm, watching the form of water, being dominated by the sound hanging above the head, moving repeatedly, feeling different sound effects at different standing points, as if walking through ice caves, glaciers, ice waterfalls, oceans, snowstorms, imagining the power of ten thousand jun in the crazy snowflakes. The exhibited works in the museum allow us to appreciate the artists' carefully designed, interesting, thought-provoking, and inspiring works, which are amazing and dazzling...😍 🔮After the museum opened in early March this year, the fifth-floor skywalk has now become a popular Olafur Eliasson light tunnel, which is very dazzling and colorful. I didn't see it when I went before, but now that it's back, it's really great. It is said that this light tunnel was exhibited in this museum in 2007. My nephew visited with his friends last week and he said it was very spectacular👍🏻. I'll share his tunnel photo with my museum-loving friends for now😃. If you go at the last minute, you can also buy tickets at the entrance, but be sure to do so before 4:30. It's best to visit on weekdays when there are fewer people and you don't have to queue for photos📷. There are usually more people on weekends. The museum is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It is open from 1pm to 8pm on Thursdays and from 10am to 5pm on Fridays to Sundays. 🔮Parking: It's difficult to find meter parking in San Francisco's downtown. It's better to park in a parking lot🅿️.
