Finally got to come to this place after about half a year later! Came here last July but it was raining, my family and I couldn't do much but make a U-turn even after a long 2 hours ride from Osaka. Sandanbeki Cliff has two parts, both the inside and the outside. To access the underground caves, you would have to take an elevator down, and follow the path to see the different parts of the underground caves. Upon exiting the underground caves, do check out the cliffs as well. Heard that this place is one of the favourite suicide place in Japan. However, the view is breathtaking. You can enjoy the sea view from a high place or take the elevator to the 20th floor underground. For 1,500 yen, you can take the elevator to the bottom of the 3-stage cave to watch the tide. The sea water rushing into the cave is very shocking. The whole venue is not big, and there is a visiting route, which is just a circle.
