North of Zhengzhou, it borders the Yellow River, faces Songyue Mountain to the south, and connects to related scenic spots in the east. It has a unique terrain and rich historical sites. Sanhuangshan Peach Blossom Valley Scenic Area is located 25 km northeast of Xingyang City. Backed by the Yellow River, it overlooks Zhongyue Mountain to the south, connects to the Hanba Erwangcheng to the west, and joins the Yellow River Scenic Area to the east. It is a place with numerous historical sites and a gathering of great figures. Legend has it that in ancient times, Fuxi, Shennong, and Suiren all taught people to grow rice, collect yams, and hunt and fish here, leaving behind many moving stories and legends, hence the name "Sanhuangshan." The scenic area is now the dividing point between the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, and it is also an excellent location to view the Nine Bends and Eighteen Turns of the Yellow River! While washing, he fainted! When he woke up, he had become an immortal. And the jie dao he left behind, after hundreds of years of cultivation, also transformed into two immortal bodies, one yin and one yang. The jie dao was the yang body, and the scabbard was the yin body. Not long after, the Queen Mother summoned the jie dao to heaven to be a celestial official, but the scabbard was unwilling to go to heaven, so it followed the Yellow River to this place and stayed here, becoming the local: "Peach Blossom Fairy"! Because of the care of the heavens, the peach blossoms in Peach Blossom Valley bloom very brightly every year. Drive for about 40 minutes to reach the boundary marker of the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River. When you see someone setting up roadblocks to stop cars, it means you have arrived. Many cyclists can ride straight in without being stopped. For non-cyclists, it is recommended to drive as there is no public transportation on the way. The people stopping cars look like they are from the scenic area and say you must switch to a sightseeing bus, which costs 30 yuan per person. It's a 1.3-kilometer walk. Initially, I planned to walk, but traffic jams in the city center delayed me. By the time I reached the so-called transfer point, the sun was already setting. After bargaining, I got the price down to 30 yuan for 2 people. The car followed their sightseeing bus to the navigation point. Upon reaching the scenic area, be mindful of oncoming cars and cyclists. Shamefully, as a Henan native, this is my first time visiting the Yellow River. In contrast, Zhang Huaimin, who lives upstream of the Yellow River, can stroll along the river every day when she is at home.
