The reason I visited Sapa was to see the scenery that resembled ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’, but I heard that it is a place where it is difficult to see a clear sky because it is often cloudy. It was cloudy when I went, but thanks to the fog and haze, I could feel an even more mysterious and cartoon-like atmosphere. Cat Cat Village I visited Cat Cat Village as the first destination of my Sapa trip, and as soon as I arrived at the village, I felt like I was in an animation. The fog covered every corner of the village in the cloudy weather, making it even more dreamy, and it felt like I was traveling to a small European village. The buildings and scenery are unique and beautiful, so no matter where you take a picture, you will get a great shot. I recommend you visit Cat Cat Village at least once! Fansipan Next, I challenged Fansipan. The journey to the top was quite difficult. I had to change cable cars two or three times while climbing, and I was physically exhausted due to altitude sickness. However, when I arrived at the top of Fansipan and saw the spectacular view in all directions, I felt like all the hardships were worth it. The scenery that made me feel like I was walking in the sky was so beautiful that I can't express it in words. Tip: Make sure to use the monorail for the last section! Even if you have some energy left, walking up without the monorail is really hard. The trip to Sapa was difficult, but it was rewarding and left me with unique memories. On our first trip to Vietnam, we chose Northern Vietnam. We took a flight to Hanoi and then a sleeper bus to Sapa, the city in the mist. We arrived in the morning, just in time to check into the hotel, Hotel de la Couple M Gallery. Since we couldn't check in yet, we left our bags and asked to take a shower at the hotel. They directed us to the pool floor, where there were shower rooms equipped with all necessary amenities, including a hairdryer. After freshening up, we were ready to explore!

Though it was summer in August for Sapa but heading to the Fansipan Peak is a must. Prepare to be half warm half cold 🤣 at least that was what we experienced! Surprisingly crowded, but the entire journey from Sun Plaza to Fansipan Peak was enjoyable. It is a city that must be on your travel list. For this New Year, I came to celebrate the New Year here. I stayed at Pao's Sapa, a hotel that is a little far from the city center. It is located alone with a clear view of the mountains. However, this time I came in the winter and the weather changed, so there was only fog and no view at all. So I focused on the atmosphere of the room and the hotel. 🛏 Room: Book a Hmoung Suite, 60 sq m. This room has a terrace that opens out to catch the wind and clearly faces the mountains. The room will be a Studio Suite style, not separating the bedroom and living room. There is only a living room set to sit and have a King Size bed with a dressing table. The highest peak in Indochina (slightly more than 3.141592m), hahaha.. Definitely a place that is worth visiting again. During this trip, the view surrounding Fansiphan is covered by clouds, restricting the view of the mountain chain. However, it is still manificient in its own way. The option to travel their almost empty handed is viable. There are almost endless amount of apparel outlets selling from luggages to jackets to shoes. Definitely a place that will be regretful to not visit at least once in our lifetime.

This lovely place is located in Sapa, Vietnam. It’s about 1km walk from Sun Plaza. They offer wide range of food options, from sandwiches to rice meals and soup to fried food! Our favourite was their Beef and Pork Spring rolls. We enjoyed it so much that we had to order another serving! It’s great both eaten with or without rice. we ordered their fried noodle ang fried rice, the serving was huge but we finished it as it was so delicious! The soup was good but it turned cold almost immediately due to the weather and temperature. The staffs were friendly and accommodating. They gave us time to think of the food to order as there were lots of food choices.
