[Malaysia] Semenggoh Wildlife Centre where you can get up close and personal with wild orangutans
#0yentrip
Semenggoh Wildlife Centre is a nature reserve in Sarawak, and is also known as a wildlife rehabilitation centre. Here, orangutans in particular are protected, and efforts are being made to return them to the wild. When I visited, I was lucky enough to see an orangutan, and was impressed by its power and freedom. I was also able to enjoy the closeness between nature and the animals while walking through the jungle, and my awareness of environmental protection increased. The volunteer guide explained about the animals to me, and it was a time that made me think about coexistence with nature. It was a wonderful place where I could feel the beauty of nature and the vitality of the animals.
