[2025 Singapore Restaurant] Travel Guide for Sen of Japan (Updated Jun)

Feeling hungry after a long shopping day and found out this restaurant had already fully booked for all time slot for the day. Try our luck to walk in and being told there are still available seats at the sushi counter. Big thumbs up for the freshness and well-executed sashimi platter and premium sushi we ordered. Green tea was refilled regularly as well. Overall it's an awesome dining experience with Sen of Japan in MBS, I'll surely come back again for my next visit to Singapore.

Price per Person - $90 Rating - 4/5 Always wanted to try this Japanese food when we pass by outside. Finally try it and it was pretty good. We make a reservation and got seated near the window. They mainly cater to the sashimi selection and do not have kids meal but they have kids friendly dishes like udon, fried rice and fried chicken. The services seems to be lacking and we got our drinks order wrongly but nothing big to fuss about. Love the salmon sashimi as it was so fatty cut. Even the fried chicken tasted freshly made as well. Big thumbs up for the freshness and well-executed sashimi platter and sushi. Grilled hamachi was tender, juicy and grilled to perfection. Uni pasta is definitely worth trying as well. I’m also impressed they served the food pretty fast on a full-house Friday night. But you can’t expect too much good vibe there as the table settings are crowded. We had credit card discount for the mains, sashimi and sushi so it’s good value too after AMEX discount! One the of the best Japanese food we experienced in Singapore and is a must try in the area especially if you are having a staycation here. #moreinsg #japan

Highly recommend for special occasions and date nights, not too fancy yet attentive service and honestly great Japanese fusion food Avg.
