I've been seeing it a lot on Instagram for a few years now, Hakone's Sengokuhara Susuki Grass Grassland!! There's only a limited time when you can see it beautifully, so it gets quite crowded in the fall. For that reason, this time I headed to Hakone by train early in the morning and took the Hakone Tozan Bus. I arrived around 9:30, but many tour buses had already arrived. There weren't many people yet, so I was able to take my time looking around. It was also very beautiful in the sunlight. In the evening, the sun shines on the grass and it turns red! This was my first time, so I went in the morning to see the golden Susuki grass, but next time I'll go in the evening. There were some small restaurants nearby, so it was fun.
