The Seoraksan cable car offers a breathtaking experience with stunning panoramic views of the Seorak mountain range. As you ascend, the scenery transforms from lush forests to rocky cliffs and peaks. #fallingforfall To go up to the top of Seoraksan Mountain, it's best to take their cable car which is just a 5 minute ride. Each cable car ride interval is 10 minutes long with a maximum of 50 people (no seats available; standing only) for each ride. It's quite a packed cable car with people jostling for the best view space when entering the cable car. Even so, it's an enjoyable experience as you get to see the beautiful mountain and autumn leaves while going up/down the ride. Once up, you can go up 1 floor to the observatory for the scenic views or continue to climb up the mountain to the top. While it's now autumn, it had yet to reach the peak season. It should be even more beautiful in the upcoming 1-2 weeks around end October.

I took a ride on the Seoraksan Cable Car. Seoraksan is one of the most famous mountains in Gangwon Province, and its location is very close to popular tourist cities like Sokcho and Gangneung, attracting many visitors. I visited during the winter season, and since the snow hadn't melted yet, it felt like riding a cable car in the Alps. The scenery was truly magnificent. If you get the chance, visit during winter when the snow hasn't melted.

You can reach the summit conveniently by taking the Seoraksan Cable Car and walking by 10 to 15mins after. The Cable Car ascends in a high speed adds the excitement of the tourists. You can also enjoy scenic view with autumn leaves 800meters above. Best to explore during Autumn, though its nice also to see it during the Winter season. Note that its a bit slippery during winter
