There are Shilla Stay Mapo / Lotte City Hotel Mapo / Glad Mapo. None of the three hotels have a lounge where you can have a cup of coffee and take a break. I found one of them. ⠀ While looking for a place to have dinner and take a leisurely rest around Mapo Station, I found the Seoul Garden Hotel lounge that is open until 𝟏𝟎 at night. I went there right away. Since it wasn't a hotel lounge worth going to, there weren't many customers when I visited. On the contrary, it was good. You can rest without being disturbed by other people's eyes. The Mapo Station area is not a hot place to visit. It's a street where you can see a lot of office workers. It's a great place for office workers and business travelers to take a short break. ⠀ 👉 Antique but clean and spacious hotel lounge ⠀ The lounge was quite large. All seats are composed of wide tables and wide, comfortable sofas. It's good for resting alone, chatting with someone, and discussing business. I couldn't ignore the age of the hotel, which is over 𝟒𝟎 years old. It must have been remodeled a few times, but it still feels like an old hotel. The menu and bar area feel like something you wouldn't see in a new hotel. ⠀ 👉 It feels like you might or might not like it. ⠀ The lounge price is not reasonable compared to the price of the hotel room. 📍Seoul Garden Hotel If you have a chance to go to Mapo-Gongdeok-Yeouido, I highly recommend Seoul Garden Hotel. Of course, the Sinchon-Hongdae Line is also close by! I just came back from Seoul, and I was really amazed by the Seoul Garden Hotel I stayed at this time! The location is superb, only a 3-minute walk to Mapo Subway Station (Line 5), and only 50 minutes to Incheon Airport. Shopping, dining, and attractions are all easily accessible without having to worry about transportation issues. 🌟 Perfect location The hotel is located in the center of Mapo-Yeouido business district. Just across the Mapo Bridge is Yeouido (the financial center of Seoul). Nearby are the Han River Pier and Yeouido Park. It is super chill to take a walk at night. It only takes 20 minutes by car to Itaewon and Namdaemun Market. Shopaholics will definitely love it! 🛏️ Room comfort I stayed in a standard double room, which had enough space and sufficient heating (it was instantly warm when I entered the room in winter!), but it was recommended that I bring my own disposable items. The only minor drawback is that the air volume of the hair dryer is a bit low, so girls with long hair may need to be mentally prepared. 🍽️Nearby food There are so many restaurants near the hotel, and breakfast is delicious at any one of them! I tried the plain one with com honey topping. It added a refreshing sweetness and was delicious ^_^ You can add your own toppings when ordering at the kiosk, and some are already set, so it's easy to order. The yogurt ice cream was refreshing, but rich and delicious. I was given the cereal as a freebie. I'll definitely buy it again. Even one portion was quite filling, so it's perfect for sharing. They're open until late at night, so it's also great to take some home and eat at your hotel after dinner 👍

This is my personal favorite hotel. It's comfortable and everything is just right. My parents and friends all said it was okay. It's convenient because it's close to Gongdeok Mapo Station.

The lobby was spacious and clean, and although the staff at the front desk didn't seem to understand much Japanese, the cleaning lady spoke fluent Japanese.
