Although the shophouses in Chinatown tend to be narrow, the café made sure to leave sufficient space for guests to feel comfortable in the environment. We love the colour balance of neutral tones for the soft, approachable look. The menu splits between their day and night concepts and the dishes are pretty ordinary at first glance; though they do serve udon which is unorthodox for cafés. 😗 The portions are huge over here, we felt that they can cut down for the carb-heavy dishes. The 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗯 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 has a nice garlicky “aglio-olio” flavour. 🍝 The toast for the 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 is way too huge and kinda dry. A little gravy over the dish would do wonders! 🍗 The drinks here are a masterpiece, each one of them looks like they were made with a lot of care. #singaporetrip I recently visited September Coffee, and it was a delightful experience. Here's a breakdown of the items I tried: Gochujang Udon This dish stood out with its unique fusion of Korean flavors and creamy textures. The spicy and slightly sweet gochujang sauce perfectly coated the chewy udon noodles. It’s a bold and comforting choice! Truffle Fries The truffle aroma hit me the moment the fries arrived. Crispy, golden, and generously seasoned with parmesan, these fries were addictive and perfect for sharing. Crab Aglio Olio A satisfying dish with a good balance of garlic and chili. The crab meat added a touch of sweetness, complementing the al dente pasta beautifully. Specialty Black Sesame Latte This is a must-try! The nutty and earthy black sesame flavor was well-balanced with the creamy latte base, creating a warm and comforting drink. It’s clear why it’s one of their specialties. Overall, the ambiance of September Coffee was cozy, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend it for a casual meal or coffee date. September coffee at Chinatown is one of the popular cafe spot, it’s usually very crowded especially during peak hours, I heard need to queue for 2 hours for a seat. Thankfully I managed to beat the queue, I came here at around 5:45pm and it’s rather empty, no queue ahead of us at all. We ordered the most popular dish here, which is the Rose Udon, it came with some super crispy fried chicken and chewy udon. The udon sauce was so creamy and yummy, it is quite spicy. This is my favourite dish out of all. We also ordered a crab meat pasta, I quite like this pasta but my friends said it’s abit blend, especially after we had the Rose udon. We ordered 2 side dishes, truffle tater tots was so nice, so crispy and the truffle dip was really good, it’s very easy to lose count on how many I ate 😜 the fried mantou with shrimp was decent, I don’t think it’s the best or super nice, but it’s decent. We had a matcha strawberry drinks, it was nice and fragrant, but it’s abit milky for me. We ended our meal with the pistachio strawberry tiramisu, it’s very presentable, but I still prefers my normal coffee chocolate tiramisu. :)

#singapore Nice ambience w a great variety of drinks and food choices. Downside would be no reservations allowed and some food was a little on the saltier side. Would recommend to come earlier like when they just open so that you don’t have to wait long. Nice ambiance, extremely friendly service crew with a simple but tasty menu! Will come back again to try their mains.
