There are two airports in Shanghai, Pudong and Hongqiao. Hongqiao Airport is located in the Puxi area. International flights (and a few domestic flights) are in Terminal 1, and domestic flights are in Terminal 2. The terminal building is served by subway lines 2 and 10, making it easily accessible from the city. Unique to China, you will be subject to security checks before entering the building. After that, you will need to check in and go through security again before entering the restricted area. There are many restaurants in the terminal building, but they are more expensive than eating in the city. There is a convenience store on the same floor where you can buy snacks and drinks. There are several cafes on the second floor. I wonder if there are any restaurants... This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in while in China. The hotel is not far from the Hongqiao International Airport in Shanghai. The hotel is in a perfectly located and close to restaurants. Their breakfast is fairly well prepared. The hotel is so clean! At the moment checkout time is 2pm. I’d definitely book this hotel again.
