Exploring Shanghai Pudong Airport: A Beautiful Start or End to Your Journey
#favouriteitinerary
Shanghai Pudong Airport is really beautiful. While waiting for my flight, I took out my phone to take photos and check in. The place looks stunning, and it’s a great way to capture the beginning or end of my journey in China – it feels wonderful. The airport has numerous international brand stores, duty-free shops, Chinese and Western restaurants, as well as rest areas. From my personal experience, during peak hours, the airport can get very crowded, especially when international flights are concentrated. Security checks, immigration, and luggage collection can take longer with longer queues. So, I recommend arriving at the airport early just to be on the safe side. The airport is quite large, and there’s a lot of walking, especially between Terminal 1/2 and the satellite hall, where you need to take the metro, which may be inconvenient for unfamiliar travelers. Pudong Airport’s facilities and services are quite comprehensive, but during peak times, there might be some congestion. Overall, the experience is still very good!
