I really don't understand why young people still love staying at Shangri-La!
When I traveled to Xi'an in spring, my friends recommended the Shangri-La in Xi'an, and my first reaction was NO! NO! NO! It didn't fit my stylish and trendy style at all, but once I checked in, it was truly delightful~
First of all, the lobby. The space and the high ceiling give a sense of transparency, and the lobby bar with its tropical rainforest style makes sitting down for a coffee feel like an instant trip to summer.
📍Right near the hotel is the cherry blossom avenue on Gaoxin Second Road, which is really beautiful in spring~ Plus, the hotel's location is convenient, whether you're going to famous spots like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, the Tang Paradise, or to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, Huaqing Pool, and other renowned sites.
I must praise the layout of the hotel rooms, where everything is in its rightful place – those who often stay in hotels will understand the value of this statement. The suite's space is designed very reasonably, spacious and practical, making it feel just like home. And the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms allow for a full appreciation of the city's beauty and the hotel's garden scenery.
The hotel also has a small garden, with a lawn + cherry blossoms + afternoon tea, I can't think of a more beautiful scene. There's also an executive lounge, and the facilities of the swimming pool and gym are very complete. The quality and service of this old-brand five-star are really incomparable to others.
Lastly, you must have a meal at the hotel's buffet, it's incredibly rich: stir-fried seafood + barbecue + hotpot + cold seafood + Japanese cuisine + desserts + noodle station, even someone like me who has grown tired of buffets found myself leaning against the wall as I left~
