For over a decade, it has been imbued with the warmest human touch!
What can I say? I love the human touch at the Shangri-La Hotel. Over the past decade, this time-honored five-star hotel in Xi'an has grown with the High-tech Zone. As time goes by, the service has become more and more deeply rooted in people's hearts and keeps pace with the times.
1. The hotel is not as bright and modern as those newly opened hotels, nor does it have any modern design worth praising and commending. However, it can still capture people's hearts and make me feel that it has become more mellow over the years, keeping pace with the times, with the sophistication and maturity of a veteran. It knows better what human touch is.
2. I still like the hotel's magnificent architectural appearance and the decoration of the drop-off area. The double horse sculpture outside the lobby door is grand and is the hotel's first "greeter." On both sides of the revolving door, there are chimes, echoing the heritage of the ancient city of Xi'an.
3. If you look closely at the hotel's public spaces, you will find many Tang Dynasty elements and artistic displays and ornaments of the ancient capital culture. They appear inadvertently in various spaces, instantly pulling people back to the imaginative space of the Tang Dynasty.
4. Although the hotel is a bit old, the lobby is still very impressive. I also like this space very much. The lobby is connected to the lobby bar, with perfect height and full transparent floor-to-ceiling windows that completely bring the outdoor scenery into the room. The greenery is vibrant and invigorates the entire interior space, making it extremely comfortable to look at.
5. The warm yellow ceiling and carpet, combined with warm-colored lighting and a huge crystal chandelier, give the lobby a noble atmosphere. This is a place to drink afternoon tea, taste fragrant tea, and drink alcohol. When the hot summer arrives, perhaps a mojito will suit your taste.
6. When staying at the hotel, be sure to enjoy lunch at the Chinese restaurant "Tian Xiang Ge." It can be said that this restaurant has skillfully used Chinese elements. Wooden and porcelain decorations can be seen everywhere in the restaurant. Chinese lanterns, heavy chimes, and circular arches are all scenery, injecting charm into the restaurant.
7. "Tian Xiang Ge" serves authentic Cantonese cuisine, as well as delicious dishes from other regions of China and special Shaanxi local snacks. Here, you can experience and taste various Chinese delicacies. I highly recommend the Cantonese dim sum buffet, which can be said to include the signature dishes of Cantonese dim sum. Purple Gold Sauce Chicken Feet, Black Gold Lava Buns, Jinsha Red Rice Intestine, Spicy Red Oil Chicken, Signature Swan Pastry, Fruit Green Colorful Shrimp Balls, and Goldfish Guiling Jelly are all authentic Cantonese flavors. Hotel guests and local diners can eat as much as they want for lunch.
8. In addition to the Chinese restaurant, the all-day dining restaurant "Yi Cafe" is a good place to taste buffet delicacies. This July, it is launching a crayfish-themed buffet. For diners who like to eat crayfish, they can indulge themselves and have a feast. There are many flavors of crayfish, including garlic crayfish, thirteen-spice crayfish, spicy crayfish, spicy crayfish, and wine-flavored marinated crayfish, which are very rich.
9. In addition to crayfish, charcoal-grilled oysters, garlic oysters, and cheese-baked oysters are the world of oysters. There are also various barbecued meats, Chinese and Western hot dishes, noodle staples, desserts, etc., which tantalize the taste buds and are all the flavors of summer.
10. Outside the restaurant, if you are a guest on the executive floor, you can go to the Executive Lounge, where afternoon tea and happy hour are served. The entire space and tone of the Executive Lounge are elegant and warm. The yellow color scheme and leather seats have a low-key luxury style that has been washed by time.
11. This time I stayed at the hotel, I changed from the hotel's executive suite to a family room, and took my nephew to experience two different room types. The executive suite has a separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom space, and the area is quite suitable and very comfortable.
12. I would especially like to recommend the family room. The hotel is promoting the "Little Archaeologist Summer Camp" room package during the summer vacation. You can go to the Tang Paradise to feel the prosperity and meet the tumbler lady, or you can go to the Xi'an Museum to visit the long river of history. Guests who book a family room package will have a car arranged by the hotel to take them to these places for free. At the hotel, you can also wear Hanfu and transform into a little archaeologist. Free children's hand-carving is provided in the room. Do it yourself, and there will be unexpected surprises in the end. The whole family can spend quality time together.
13. Family rooms will be decorated with themes. Children's snacks and drinks are free for the first round. Children's toothbrushes, toiletries, bathrobes, and cotton slippers are all prepared. The buffet also enjoys a 50% discount. It is a great value for a family check-in.
14. If you are traveling to Xi'an and staying at the Shangri-La Hotel, Xi'an, if you are traveling with your family, you may wish to give half of your time to the hotel. There are many fun things waiting for the children to experience and discover. Adults also have good places to relax. The Shangri-La Chi Spa can relax your body and mind and stretch your muscles. I had a one-hour men's facial here, which was especially great because I seemed younger.
15. Finally, I would like to talk about the unchanging fragrance of the Shangri-La Hotel, which permeates the nose the moment you step into the hotel door. It is not strong or light, and the familiar taste is just right. It is also the most honest memory, as if it can instantly transport people to tranquility and comfort. Just like the service that has been accumulated for more than ten years, it is more concentrated and considerate in the furnace of time.
