You can go up to the base of the statue or up to the top of the statue. Tickets to go up sell out very quickly, so you have to book quickly. You also have to be careful of scammers when you are queuing to see the statue.

The Statue of Liberty can be seen from the boat, but it is quite far away, so I recommend landing on Liberty Island if you can. 🖐️ And if possible, go to the pedestal or crown! I'm sure many of you feel the same way 🙋♂️ The most common way is to visit from Manhattan on a Statue City Cruises ship. During peak season, it gets very crowded even on weekdays, so you must book your tickets in advance ⚠️ You might be able to avoid the crowds better if you go early in the morning on the day. Also, while a ticket just to land on Liberty Island costs USD24.50, a ticket to go up to the Statue's pedestal and to the crown both cost USD24.80. The difference is only USD 0.30 👀 Furthermore, if you have each admission ticket, you can go through the priority lane to the security booth, which is a definite advantage ~ 🖐️ (The number of tickets is limited, so buy it early!)
