My self-care routine: Staying in beautiful hotels
I've been so busy lately and can't wait for the weekend to unwind. Usually, my self-care routine consists of a random combination of elements: hotels, exercise, delicious meals, spas, and skincare. But among all these activities, staying in a hotel is always the most effective way for me to recharge.

This weekend, I plan to spend time in Chunxi Road, and I've arranged tennis, spa treatments, and a movie all nearby, including my hotel stay. Among various hotel styles, there's one I've rarely tried – New Chinese/Ancient style, so I wanted to experience it this time. With these criteria in mind, I quickly settled on the Shengbo Qingju Hotel.

First of all, I love its location. It's only a 15-minute bike ride to IFS, which allows me to enjoy a leisurely ride under the sun without being exposed to too much heat. Secondly, the hotel's aesthetics and design are tranquil and Zen-inspired, featuring warm lighting, natural wood, micro-cement, and a minimalist, natural, and cozy atmosphere with a touch of *wabi-sabi*. The lobby has a strong traditional Chinese art vibe, with a calligraphy exhibition and writing brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones provided for guests to practice calligraphy. There are also various styles of *Hanfu* available for guests to try on.

Back to the guest rooms. The rooms here are generally small but beautiful. Except for the suites, other room types are around 20 square meters, while the suites are relatively more spacious and have bathtubs. I stayed in the hotel's largest Elegant Suite, which is nearly 50 square meters. One thing I particularly liked was the partition between the bathtub and the bedroom, offering great privacy. However, the washing area is semi-open, facilitating conversation and interaction between guests. The room features smart controls, a mini-fridge, bathrobes, takeaway coffee cups, exclusive tea bags, a Laifen hairdryer, and PMPM White Truffle scented toiletries. Both aesthetics and quality are top-notch.

Besides the commendable design and amenities, the meticulous service also left a deep impression on me. There's a list of emergency items in the room, such as facial masks, curling irons, toiletries, and medications, which can be obtained at the front desk. Similar emergency items are also displayed in the lobby's tea area for guests to take as needed. The hotel staff are all smiles and provide impeccable service. With such a pleasant stay experience, who wouldn't feel refreshed and rejuvenated?

The hotel has a unique atmosphere that calms you down the moment you step into the lobby, allowing you to let go of current worries and distractions and reclaim your time bit by bit. Just a night or two is enough for me to return fully revitalized.
