Recommended hotel for peak season visits to Chimelong Guangzhou||We visited Chimelong at the end of June. A few days before our trip, we checked Panda Hotel and Chimelong Hotel. The room type we wanted at Panda Hotel was sold out, and the price was high. Breakfast was included (Panda Hotel rooms are small, and we had 2 adults and 2 children). Chimelong Hotel is a resort-style hotel, but it is old. So we decided to look for hotels near Chimelong and found Sheraton Guangzhou Panyu. We were very satisfied! It is one of the best choices for a trip to Chimelong! Sheraton Guangzhou Panyu is 3.4 km from Chimelong Safari Park (according to Amap). It takes 10 minutes to get there by taxi. The hotel is located above Panyu Teemall and Wanda Plaza, which is more convenient for dining and shopping than Chimelong. The hotel opened in 2020, so the facilities are new. The room types and views are great. You can ask the hotel to install a bed rail and provide children's toiletries and slippers. The service and check-in experience of this chain brand are great. Also, there are some business travelers staying at Sheraton Guangzhou Panyu, so there are fewer children than at Chimelong hotels. I don't know if parents will get this point. If you want to stay at a theme park hotel, I recommend Panda Hotel and Chimelong Hotel. If your child needs a nap, you can walk back to the hotel and return to the park. But if your child needs a nap, it only takes 30 minutes to get to and from Sheraton Guangzhou Panyu. It's easy to get a taxi in the park. My child doesn't nap, so we had breakfast at the hotel and went to the park. We had plenty of time and avoided the morning queue.
