| Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort
In mid-May, I vacationed in Dubai and chose the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort. The hotel is located on Al Mamsha Road, adjacent to the famous promenade and Bluewaters Island, making it exceptionally well-situated. 🏙️ Taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel was very convenient, taking about 20 minutes. There's also a Dubai subway station nearby, making it extremely easy to get around. 🚇
Upon entering the hotel, I immediately felt the warm hospitality. 🍹 The front desk staff were very friendly, quickly helped us check in, and thoughtfully provided some refreshments. While the hotel's decor is slightly dated, it's well-maintained overall, especially the lobby and garden areas. The hotel offers complete facilities including a gym, swimming pool, and squash court, with direct access to a private beach, making everything wonderfully convenient and enjoyable. 🏝️
We stayed in two adjoining rooms connected by a door, which was perfect for family use. The rooms were spacious, and although the furniture was somewhat old, the beds were very comfortable, including an extra-large bed. Room amenities were complete with TV, air conditioning, and coffee machine. 🛏️ Particularly worth mentioning is the amazing view from the sea-facing rooms, especially during early morning and sunset, when looking at the ocean feels exceptionally peaceful and beautiful.
There are many worthwhile places to visit nearby. For entertainment, you can go to AURA SKYPOOL for the views or try water sports at Hydro Water Sports. There are also many restaurants to choose from along the beach, such as Trader Vic's JBR and Clay Dubai, which are both excellent choices. After dinner, walking along the promenade and experiencing Dubai's nighttime charm is more satisfying than anything else.
As for shortcomings, the hotel's decor is indeed somewhat outdated and needs renovation. Although the staff are very friendly, the service efficiency at Ciao restaurant could be improved. Additionally, the hotel is a bit far from some major attractions, requiring taxi rides, which might be inconvenient for some people. Overall, however, this stay was very pleasant, and I would consider staying here again on my next visit to Dubai.
