When the nightlife wasn't packed, I started exploring Longyan South Road Food Street. No more waiting in line for dishes like roast chicken, rice rolls, durian ice cream, and soy milk. Many shops stay open until 1 AM, closing gradually after midnight. Accommodation in Shantou There are too few branded hotels in the city center... I chose the Sheraton Hotel, which is just across the street from MixC Mall. It's a 10-minute walk to Longyan South Road Food Street, which is already filled with delicious food. Nearby are places like Home-style Beef, Wu Ji Fu Yuan, Fu He Cheng, and Xing Hua Wu Ji. The hotel incorporates local Shantou culture, offering many photo spots. At sunset, I drove from the ancient city of Chaozhou to the Longguang Sheraton Hotel in Shantou. The hotel offers free parking 🚗, but you need to look for a spot in the underground garage, which is quite convenient. The lobby is well-decorated, so many weddings and events are held here. The hotel room was chosen on a non-smoking floor, 🛏️ the room size and exterior view are quite good, but it feels inappropriate to still have smoking floors in 2024. 🏋️‍♀ The gym is open 24 hours, and when I went at night, the strength area was empty, but the cardio area was quite full, a commendation to the discipline of business travelers. 🍞 The breakfast environment is good, with Chaozhou clay pot porridge and noodle stalls being quite good, maintaining Sheraton's quality. In the evening, there are also some small stalls, which add to the lively atmosphere. If you want to visit tourist attractions like Shantou Small Park, I think taking a taxi is a good choice. It's quite easy to hail a cab at the hotel entrance. The overall stay experience was positive. Although the room showed some signs of age, the facilities were well-maintained. The only issue we encountered was poor window sealing in the room. After reporting it, the hotel provided a timely and effective solution by replacing all the window seals in the room. Additionally, the service attitude of the hotel staff is commendable. The check-in process was smooth, and AMEX cards are accepted. The doorman in the lobby was also very dedicated, welcoming guests at the door even late at night, which felt very heartwarming. Breakfast is served in the hotel's first-floor lobby, which is quite spacious. Although 9-10 AM should be peak dining time during holidays, there was no queue, indicating a high throughput. The breakfast offers a noodle station and special stalls featuring local snacks, with a fairly rich variety. The lounge's decor is also nice, and the concierge at the entrance is quite professional. All guests entering and exiting the lounge are greeted. The lounge holds a Happy Hour every day, offering hot dishes. Additionally, a few wines and whiskies are available. At other times, snacks and coffee are provided, all of which are fairly standard. Moreover, the lounge offers a nice view from the windows, as it is on the top floor of the hotel, allowing you to see the sea and the bridge. Despite the slightly outdated decor, the excellent service and prime location made my stay at this Sheraton meaningful. Overall, it is worth recommending.

I heard that the locals here don't eat frozen meat, it's all fresh meat from the morning. Plan to come here for a vacation and have a good meal.
