This lounge is one of the best lounge I’ve been in, in terms of the decor and the food. The decor gives the lounge a very sophisticated yet warm vibes. The evening cocktail with food is from 5.30 to 7.30pm and it is not to be missed! I would call this a buffet dinner with cocktail instead due to the sheer variety of food. From starters like salad and cheese, to soup and main dishes such as bak kwa fried rice, stewed beef etc.. till dessert such as different flavours of cakes, pastries and fruits. Not forgetting the beverages which include hard liquor, beer, soft drinks, bottled water, coffee and tea. room: deluxe twin 30m² price: $218/night rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ starting off with a commemoration post from our 5th monthsary. the first bold decision i made to go with my partner which marked the start of a booked relationship. funnily enough i reserved this date on booking.com. first time searching through booking apps was intimidating, somehow i settled here. i hadn’t decided before to be doing reviews and a log of my staycations, thus the lack of pictures for the first few trips. for my first experience, sheraton towers was stunning. the lobby was spacious with grand staircases and waterfalls leading your eyes up to the high ceilings. the room was quite big and my main criteria was for the room to have a bathtub. i also selected for breakfast to be included and we managed to wake up in time to dine in their lounge area, which had such a tranquil atmosphere with the sound of flowing water in the background, floor to ceiling windows shrouded by foliage and mist. it really felt like we were at some genting resort, hidden between the clouds and trees.

Towers Executive Lounge Address - 39 Scotts Road, Singapore Sheraton Towers Highlight - unlimited drinks My cousin & I received a Sheraton Towers hotel stay as a Christmas gift last year. We were booked at a Guest Room, High Floor, with Club Lounge access. While we enjoyed using their swimming pool and had a good night’s sleep, our experience in the hotel lounge is only so-so. Based on their website, there is a dresscode so my cousin & I made sure we wore a dress. However, when we reached the lounge, there was a man waiting to be seated who wore a sleevless shirt (like a beach sando) and walking shorts. So… goodbye dress code 🙄 We could’ve just donned the shorts and shirt we’ve worn earlier. Cocktails, beer, wine and other non-alcoholic drinks are free-flow. Finger foods are served in a bento box - 1 bento per guest. I understand that to facilitate service, they prepare these bento boxes beforehand. However, this meant food served to guests may be cold. The chicken wings we had were cold. The crackers served with cheese, lost it’s crispiness (you know, what happens when you leave packaged soda crackers or snacks unopened for a long time). When I also asked the blue cheese to be replaced by cheddar or edam or any other cheese, they declined and told me they cannot do it since all bento boxes are pre-packed. The pastry also doesn’t taste fresh anymore :( [Note that during breakfast, there were more types of cheese & pastry is more fresh.] Some of the servers always had smile on their face, some, not. The only thing I enjoyed is their bourbon with soda ;) They didn’t dilute the bourbon with too much soda. Overall experience rating is 3 out of 5. I think they can do better. Sheraton Towers Address - 39 Scotts Road, Singapore Breakfast is served from 7:00AM to 10:30AM. We confirmed the earliest booking slot with reception. Unlike other hotels where you have club lounge access, Sheraton’s breakfast is still served in their main Dining Hall, not in the lounge. We picked the table with a view of the waterfall fountain. Too bad it was blocked by the morning dew on the glass wall :( Guests can select one breakfast set but some items are refillable. Refer to the pictures of menu and food I posted. My cousin had their nasi lemak while I had the big breakfast. We tried all the refillable items. The down part is, they serve everything almost all at once so your table can get too full. This is why I still prefer assisted buffet over this set-up. Sheraton Towers Address - 39 Scotts Road, Singapore Facilities - swimming pool, gym, spa (closed as of Mar 2022), club lounge Highlight - executive lounge My cousin & I received this hotel stay as a Christmas gift last year. We were booked at a Guest Room, High Floor, with Club Lounge access. Fast check-in process. Our room was ready by check-in time. No deposit was required from us. Room was spacious enough. However, I feel that the room decor is a bit outdated already. There are usb and hdmi ports but I didn’t bring my chromecast so I don’t know if the port works. Their tv has the standard english channels (hbo, etc) but no built-in chromecast or screen mirroring function. The bathroom is ok. There is no bidet. The tub is not separated from the shower though. The hotel has a gym with lots of equipment. Their swimming pool is okay but not child-friendly. Only the part where the pool stairs is located is shallow. The rest of the pool, above 4ft already. Note that there is no lifeguard. We swam around 10am and found that the water temperature is just about right. Not cold nor hot. We enjoyed our morning swim! Booking for these facilities are done via the reception. Before use, you have to register with the person assigned at that floor. However, there are times when that area is not manned so sometimes, guests without booking can enter the gym and pool. Only one hour slots each can be booked for the gym and pool. Noticeable is their extensive in-room dining menu. We weren’t able to try though. Breakfast served is by set but the appetizers are unlimited. Unlike other hotels where you have club lounge access, your breakfast is still served in their main Dining Hall, not in the lounge. Hotel location is very convenient as there are bus stops near it - in case you want to go to Orchard for shopping ;) I rate this staycay experience 4 stars out of 5. I still enjoyed my stay at this hotel and was able to rest and recharge. However, honestly, this hotel did not make the cut for the hotels I’d like to frequently stay in. A great place for staycation if you looking for some serenity while still within the town area for easy access to some light shopping with a short drive or 1 MRT station stop away. The hotel is still as clean, grand and with cosy ambience. The room is spacious and relaxing whereby you have a mini living room for light work and watching TV without disturbing your love ones when they are in rest - for around the same price you pay staying in other hotels located inside Orchard area. Kids have spaces to roam around and play amongst themselves. Food in the hotel is really tasty and generous, whether it is the Breakfast, the ala carte meals or high tea finger food we ordered at the lounge. The mini-waterfall helps lighten up the mood of the guests while dining. The other plus point is the walking distance to one of my favourites local dining location - Newton Circus. A one-stop food center that sells nice local delights like barbeque seafood, satays, hokkien fried prawn noodles, etc. Food standard there is still fine despite pandemic period. Brings back lots of wonderful memories of the early years of having gathering with family members and friends there. Recommended to foreigners or tourists who are interested in knowing and trying the food that the locals eat. The hotel is a short and convenient subway ride away, making it easy to get to Marina Bay or the National Orchid Garden. In this tropical city, the Sheraton welcomes every traveler with its classic charm. This hotel has an elegant, old-money style. Although it shows its age, this adds to its historical gravitas. Every time I walk into the hotel lobby, I can feel the Sheraton's attention to detail. The front desk staff is always friendly and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and there is also a very popular executive lounge. The executive lounge not only offers a variety of food and drinks, but the service attitude of the lounge team members makes people feel at home. The 24-hour lounge even provides a great place for night owls to relax and unwind. Although the rooms have a bit of an old-fashioned feel, you can see that the hotel is working hard to maintain a good level of cleanliness. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable to stay in. The bed was large and soft, and I slept well all night. The soundproofing on the walls is good. Although the hotel is located in the center of bustling Orchard Road, the room is still quiet. The daily cleaning is very attentive, and the bedding is replaced in a timely manner, making the stay very comfortable. There are many interesting places nearby! The National Orchid Garden and Singapore Botanic Gardens are must-sees for nature lovers. And for those who like a challenge, Ransack Puzzle Hunts will definitely satisfy your puzzle-solving fun. As for dining, nearby eateries such as The Mind Cafe and Entre-nous Creperie not only satisfy your taste buds, but also allow you to experience the passion and diversity of local life. Of course, there are still some minor flaws in perfection. The hotel is a bit old, and some areas do look a bit old and damp. A renovation would certainly add to its appeal. However, these minor issues did not affect the overall comfortable experience. Overall, the Sheraton Hotel is a great place to enjoy luxury and experience warm hospitality. I will most likely choose this hotel again next time I come to Singapore, and I look forward to meeting the executive lounge again!
