It faces the street on three sides, so anyone can easily walk in. Anyway, the outdoor exhibitions are free permanent works. The entire outdoor space is a large lawn, and it is said that outdoor weddings have been held here. Before it became an art museum, this place was an elementary school. The trees planted by the elementary school students when they graduated are now preserved, like traces of time, continuing to accompany Kanazawa. One of the most famous permanent works of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is the "swimming pool". Kanazawa Castle amazed me with its grand white walls and peaceful gardens. Wandering around the huge wooden gates and stone paths felt like stepping into a samurai-era movie. The most famous area in Kanazawa is the Higashi Chaya District, where most of the cafes and tea houses are located, attracting a lot of crowds. However, I personally recommend crossing the bridge to visit the Kazue-machi Chaya District, which is relatively less crowded. Most of the establishments here are high-end restaurants that operate in the evening. It's a pleasant place to take a walk without the hustle and bustle, making it a great spot for those who prefer a tranquil environment.
