When Shimabara Castle was built, a samurai residential area was built at the same time adjacent to the west of the outer periphery. Every 300 square meters was separated into one household. The courtyards built with stone walls were usually planted with plums, persimmons, oranges, loquats, etc. Four seasons of fruit, the branches are connected, and the fruit is faintly visible. A canal running through the center of the street was flowing with a trickling stream, which was the main source of domestic water at that time. Walking through the various houses of the Wu family house along the waterway, feeling the faint sadness after the precipitation of history, and evoking countless reverie.
