Xiangguo Temple in Kaifeng (Part 2)
Xiangguo Temple, covering an area of 30 acres, preserves ancient relics such as the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Great Buddha's Hall, the Octagonal Glazed Hall, and the Sutra Storage Tower. The ancient architectural complex in the temple is neatly arranged from south to north along a central axis, with the main buildings including the front gate, the second hall (Hall of Heavenly Kings), the Great Buddha's Hall, the Octagonal Glazed Hall, and the Sutra Storage Tower, totaling five layers of buildings. On both sides of the central axis are symmetrical two-column pavilion-style buildings. The east side is the east wing (also known as the east pavilion or Guanyin Pavilion), and the west side is the west wing (also known as the west pavilion or Ksitigarbha Pavilion). The entire building maintains the style of the Qing Dynasty, antique and magnificent.
