( i swear the water is beyond wordsss but my pics dont do justice. remember the tectonic plate i told u before? every visitors can opt to dive (around RM 1.5k & few other requirements-PADI license is one of those) or snorkel. so with my giant space dry suit, i plunged into the coldness of 0-2°C glacial water!! very cold but the dry suit really helped a lot; maintaining buoyancy & keeping me warm. once i submerged underwater, i was totally mesmerised by d water but unfortunately i didn't enjoy that much cause i have BIGGER PROB-that uncomfortable dry suit!!! hence delaying otha divers n my instructor too..anyway, divers are allowed for 2 trips of 30-40mins dive with break in between. come and experience Silfra #diving #silfra #iceland

Snorkeling between two plates - Silfra, Iceland🤿 Today I will share with you my experience of snorkeling in Silfra several times🤿 The PADI website says that this is the only place in the world where you can snorkel/dive between two plates - the Eurasian Plate & the North American Plate! Isn't it a super cool bucket list! 🤩 The water between the plates is glacier water. You can drink it directly when you are thirsty. Isn't it amazing! 🤩 3. Pure glacier water-100% visibility, you can see as deep as the gap between the plates (people with acrophobia should consider this😆) Balanced report on some disadvantages: Glacier water means the temperature is around 4 degrees C all year round. Although the whole body is covered, the whole face is easily frozen～～～🥶 With such a low temperature, there are no creatures in it, at most some small fish and algae. But snorkeling here is to complete the ✅ wish list, not to see fish haha! Unless you have a dry suit license, you can only snorkel and not dive. It is difficult to take photos wearing thick gloves.
