[2025 Tainan Stay] Travel Guide for Silks Place Tainan (Updated Mar)

Summer vacation family trip to a five-star hotel. We arrived at the hotel before 3:00 PM, thinking that the earlier we check in, the more we can enjoy. However, we overlooked the hotel's policy that check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM the next day. Despite this, we were able to check in early and leave our luggage. The kids were eager to play in the hotel's swimming pool. Silks Place Tainan is conveniently located next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, making it easy for those who want to go shopping. It's just a short walk away, which is great for avoiding the outdoor heat. The hotel staff were very considerate and called us as soon as our room was ready for early check-in. Silks Place Tainan has a very rustic charm. The high-ceilinged lobby is very comfortable and doesn't feel oppressive. The service is excellent. The rooms are spacious with large windows, making them bright and comfortable. There are simple snacks and fruits, as well as tea bags and a capsule coffee machine. The corridor has a water dispenser that offers both hot and cold water, as well as sparkling water. If you need toiletries, you can request them at the front desk. They provide Colgate toothbrushes instead of disposable ones. The bathroom has bath amenities and even face masks. The minibar is well-stocked with various drinks and bottled tea. Breakfast is unique, offering both Western and Chinese options for guests to choose from. Since the kids love Western food, we opted for the Western breakfast, while other family members chose the Chinese breakfast. We found that the Chinese breakfast also included some Western dishes and vice versa. It was a wise decision to celebrate my parents' 58th wedding anniversary at Silks Place Tainan! The extremely warm reception of Ms. Sara Chen, the concierge, made our journey full of wonderful surprises. Robin's Japanese teppanyaki young female chef's professional and superb cooking made our dinner totally unforgettable. Thank you very much for everything!

Silk Place Tainan’s swimming pool is located on the 4th floor. There is a huge sitting area near to the swimming pool. The seating environment feels like a family is gathering at a camp fire. There are grass patch on the floor to prevent people from slip and fall, there are also sun tanning chairs available at the pool side too! There is a male & female locker room to save keep your valuables while you are enjoying yourself at the pool! #fallishere

The service provided by Silks Place Tainan does match up with its 5 star rating! It is our second stay here and the overall experience was excellent; from opening the car door for us, assisting us with our luggages, to check-in. There are a few check-in counters available and the staffs were very attentive and efficient in checking us in. The lobby feels extremely luxurious and we feel that the lobby is the most significant part of a hotel where guests come in for check-ins and out. Silks Place Tainan (台南晶英酒店) is a luxurious hotel and the service standard is of top notch. The room is big and spacious, with a lot of space for walking and storing luggage. There are complimentary facial masks given to their guests. Overall, we had a great stay here in Silks Place and will come back again if we visit Tainan again! #hotelreview Upon reaching Silk Place Tainan, we were amazed by their grand lobby! Once your car has arrived at the hotel, there will be staffs opening the car door for you and luggages will be handled by them. It makes you feel like you are a VIP here! Their lobby is extremely magnificent, modern and big! There are comfortable sofas available for guests waiting to check-in or check-out. There is a restaurant as well and you can expect good quality food here!

#hotelreview Silk Place Hotel is located in the west central district of Tainan and is pretty convenient to access to other places. The hotel room is clean, comfortable and extremely spacious! The toilet has its bathroom and toilet separated which is a bonus. The mini-bar has complimentary sparkling water and the hotel even provided free facial mask! It is a pity that we only stayed 2 nights here! Will come back for more!
